Zola M. Owens

Zola M. Owens, 78, of Lewisburg, OH, died Monday, January 18, 2016 in Peebles, OH. She was born on October 17, 1937 in Ary, Kentucky daughter of the late Keen and Mollie (Allen) Noble. She retired in 1991 from GM- Inland Division in Vandalia, OH, where she was a Job Setter for 30 years. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Zola proudly served the Lord beside her husband of 63years, Pastor and Evangelist Troy Eugene Owens.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings, Clyde, Claude, John, Alice, Dulcena, Lloyd, Boyd, Daniel, Mildred and Omar.

She is survived by her husband and their children, Troy Eugene Owens, Jr. of Richmond, IN, Betty Ann and Jim Murray of Peebles, OH, Barbara Jean and Mike McGlone of Dayton, OH and Timothy Ray and Cindy Owens of Gun Barrel, TX; sister, Neola Lee Warren of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Jeff May and Brother Mark Edward Owens officiating. Entombment will be held in Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, near Brookville, OH. Family will receive friends from 12 to 1:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
