Zelma V. Heckman

ZELMA V. (MATHENY) HECKMAN , age 84, of Eaton, Ohio, died Thursday, July 10, 2003 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on February 22, 1919 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Jenny (Fridley) Matheny. Member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by her Husband: Paul E. Heckman in 1997; Granddaughter: Amber Lynn Hall; Brother: Samuel Doyle Matheny and Sisters: Vesta Matheny and Margaret Hafer.

Survived by Daughters and Son-in-law: Lurainia Mae & Mike Bosley of Indianapolis, Indiana and Bonnie Lou Hall of Brookville, Ohio; Brother: Lloyd “Gus” Matheny of Naples, Florida. Grandchildren: Joy (Scott) Childers, David Hall, Jr. and Jennifer Hall. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2003 -11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home- 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Mark Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 13, 2003 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home.
