Zambelia Gazetas Allen

Zambelia Gazetas Allen, age 94, of New Carlisle, OH, died on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Born on August 15, 1925 in Athens, Greece, daughter of the late Elias & Antonia (Kospé) Virviroplous.  

She was a coiffeur & teacher for many years at the European Institute of Cosmetology.  

Zambelia was instrumental in bringing her sisters along with her mother from Greece to America and helping them become American citizens and even found husbands for them. 

She loved to feed people all the time and was a singer and loved the arts with Mother Goose Youth Theater for many years. 

Preceded by her 1st Husband, George N. Gazetas; 2nd Husband, Elijah Howard Allen; Son-in-law, Wendell R. Middleton. 

Survived by her Daughters & Son-in-law, Vassilia Gazetas and Antonia Gazetas Weese & Timothy A. Weese; Three Grandchildren, Desiree V. Z. Gazetas Virviroplous, Zambelia Mylea Gazetas and Nikcolet V. Gazetas; Four Great Grandchildren, Antonia Agapé Gazetas, George Nickolas Gazetas II, Alexis A. Gazetas, Stephen A. Gazetas; Two Great Great Grandchildren, Antonio Love Gazetas and Dez A. Gazetas.
