William Rogers, Sr.

William Rogers, Sr., age 76, of Camden, OH, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his residence. Born on March 31, 1929, in Manchester, KY, he was the son of the late Matt & Maddie (Hibbard) Rogers. William had worked at McGees Super Market in Trenton, OH and was manager of McGees Farms. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Diane Rogers; brothers: Herbert and Frank Rogers; sister: Mary Betty Rogers.

Survived by his wife of 59 years: Marjorie (Hunt) Rogers of Camden, OH; sons & daughters-in-law: Phillip Lynn Rogers of Cincinnati, OH, Bill (Karen) Rogers Jr. of Eaton, OH, Kenneth Wayne (Cathy) Rogers of Okena, IN, Donald (Lisa) Rogers of Hamilton, OH, Dennis (Barb) Rogers of West Elkton, OH, Jamie (Pat) Rogers of Trenton, OH, and Mike (Lisa) Rogers of Camden, OH; brothers: Delbert Rogers of Lawton, OK, Taylor Rogers of Manchester, KY, and Carlo Rogers of Hazard, KY; sisters: Nancy Rogers, Vergie Rogers, Loretta Rogers, Sudie Rogers, and Cindy Rogers all of Manchester, KY. 25 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2006 at the Northside Chapel First Church of God - 6820 North Main Street - Camden, OH with Rev. Wade Crosby officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmound Cemetery at West Elkton, OH. Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Nein-Thompson Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, OH and one hour prior at the church on Monday.
