William R. Stapleton, Sr.

William R. Stapleton, Sr., 81 of Camden, Ohio, died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at The Knolls of Oxford in Oxford, Ohio. He was born on June 26, 1931 in Hamilton, Ohio, son of the late Henderson & Oma (Boone) Stapleton. William was a truck driver from 1952 to 1996.

William is preceded in death by his wife, Reva Imogene (Henry) Stapleton in 1998; son, Greg Stapleton in 2002; brothers, Thomas and James and sisters, Mary Ellen, Francis, Dorothy, and Edith.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, William R. and Sue Stapleton, Jr.and Dan Stapleton; grandchildren, Shannon, Sharon, Christina, Dusty and Dan, Jr.; great grandchildren, Ciera, L.J., Maggie, Hunter, Levi, Tylan and Lily; step great grandchildren, Ean, Hailee and Payton.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Nein Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio 45311. Interment will be held in Hickory Flat Cemetery in Overpeck, Butler Co., Ohio. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
