William R. Koons

WILLIAM R. KOONS, 79, of Camden, OH, died Thursday, November 5, 2009 at his residence. Born on May 25, 1920 in Preble County, OH, he was the son of the late Thomas M. & Orpha N. (Boomershine) Koons. He retired after 30 years with Armco in Middletown, OH and had also worked in the Camden area. Preceded in death by his Wife: Nita June (Harding) Koons in 1983; Sister: Marjorie Crouse; Brother: Kenneth Koons.

Survived by Wife of 20 years: Dora F. (Maze) Koons; Daughters: Jane Burgess and Kathleen Line, Sons: Thomas L. Koons and William R. Koons, Jr., all of Camden, OH. 6 Step Children; 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the First Southern Baptist Church - 35 N. Liberty St., Camden, OH with Rev. Greg F. Jackson officiating.
