William R. Cail

WILLIAM R. “Bill” CAIL, age 81, of Eaton, Ohio died Friday, November 5, 2004 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. Born on April 25, 1923 in Richmond, Indiana, he was the son of the late John Roy & Hazel (Benham) Cail. He was a 1941 Jackson High School graduate; WW II U.S. Army veteran, member of the Indiana Standerbred Association, Darke County Harness Association, United States Trotting Association and the Michigan Harness Horseman Association. Preceded in death by Sisters: Carolyn J. Spahr in 1990, Frances C. Campbell in 1995 and Ruth Ann Fisher in 2003; Brother: Myron B. Cail in 1997.

Survived by Special Friend: Gerri Ray, New Paris, Ohio; Brothers & Sisters-in-law: John M. & Doris Cail, Eaton, Ohio, Norman & Carol Cail, Longmont, Colorado. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2004 - 11:00 a.m. at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Ohio with Rev. John S. Carver officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris with full military graveside service by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 7, 2004 from 3 - 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
