William M. Linklater

WILLIAM M. LINKLATER, age 87, of Kettering, Ohio, died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at the Sunrise of Oakwood in Oakwood, Ohio. Born on July 1, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois he was the son of the late Charles W. and Mabel Ellen(Winkler) Linklater. He was a WW II U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran and had retired from Wright Patterson Air Force base in Fairborn. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering and did volunteer work at Kettering Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife: Miriam (Markey) Linklater in 2005.

He is survived by his daughter: Nancy L. Linklater of Centerville, Ohio and sons & daughters-in-law: William M. & Marcia Linklater II of Kettering and Jack M. & Brenda Linklater of Hawaii. Three Grandchildren: Amy Linklater, William M. Linklater III and Kyle Linklater.

A private service was held at the convenience of family with burial held in Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton.

Arrangements were entrusted to Barnes Funeral Homes- 220 East Main Street- Eaton, Ohio 45320.
