William Kent Baker

William K. “Kent” Baker, 79, of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County in Troy, Ohio. Born on June 19, 1942, in Piqua, Ohio, he was the son of the late William D. “Bud” & Esther R. (Snyder) Baker. Kent retired from NASIC at Wright Patterson AFB. He was a U.S. Army veteran during Vietnam, an avid motorcyclist since his early teens and was a member of the Harley owners’ group in Dayton, Ohio and New Port Richey, Florida. He played the mandolin and loved bluegrass music. 

Survived by his Wife of 35 years: C. Jane (Schreel) Baker; Granddaughter: Jessika and her husband Billy and their daughter Taylor; Brother: Stephen D. (Robin) Baker; Sister: Diana (Dave) Mohler. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, 3147 US Rt. 40, Lewisburg, Ohio. Arrangements Entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, Lewisburg, Ohio.
