William J. Stamback

William J. Stamback, 87 of Eaton, OH died on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Born on August 29, 1928 in Richmond, IN son of the late, William B. & Mary S. (Wood) Stamback. William was a 1946 graduate of Jackson High School and attended Earlham College in Richmond, IN. William worked at Parker Hannifin for 39 years, where he was awarded "Man of the Year." Life Member of the Knights of Columbus and Member of Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, OH.

Survived by wife of 64 years, Jean K. (Ferriell) Stamback of Eaton, OH; daughters, Sally & Nick Peters of Greensburg, IN, Peggy & Rick Sauerland of New Paris, OH and Patty & Jay Wolfe of Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Natalie (Travis) Scheibler, Justin (Leah) Peters, Rachel (Will) Abner, William Sauerland (Thomas Nelson), Jonathan (Sarah) Wolfe and Bonnie (Brandon) LeBeau; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Brock, Amelia, Caroline, Lucas, and Sarah.

Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Visitation Catholic Church, 407 E. Main St., Eaton, OH with Fr. Tom Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH. Visitation from 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, OH.
