William "Bill" Clyde Fox, age 70, of New Paris, Ohio, left his earthly life to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 9, 2013 in Richmond, Indiana. He was born on June 1, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio to William & Marjorie (Magill) Fox. William is survived by his bride of nearly 13 years, Jeannetta Fox "Bobbi", their four children, April Fox-Wilson, Amanda (Joe) Fox, Jeff (Annetta) Wilson and Jim (Melissa) Wilson, as well as a step-son, Andrew Kisner. William & Jeannetta shared the love of ten grandchildren, Ryan (Maria) Lewis, Natalie Wilson, Ben Wilson, Shannon Fox, Elizabeth Fox, Lexi Fox, Ella Fox, Cooper Wilson, Riley Fox, Parker Wilson and one great grandson, Brycen Wilson-Hood. William is also survived by three sisters, Linda (Floyd) Fox-Dickman, Peggy (Doug) Baker and Rebecca Loring and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and treasured friends. William is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Michelle Erin, and a sister, Susan Stahl.
William was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, retired from WPAFB, spent more than 35 years officiating high school sports (basketball, baseball, volleyball and swimming), was an avid swimmer, enjoyed gardening and traveling with his wife and broadcasting a radio show at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. William was a long time member of the Clodbusters Vintage baseball team, a past-time he enjoyed tremendously. Bill enjoyed working on his 1949 Chevy pickup truck with his dear friend, Bill Marshall at his local shop.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Alan D. Keesling officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Preble County Honor Guard at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home in Eaton.
