William Allen Pence

William A. "Bill" Pence, 83, of Osteen, FL and formerly of Eaton, OH, died Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his residence. Born on September 3, 1929 in Preble County, OH, he was the son of the late Robert & Mabel (O'Hara) Pence. Bill was a bus driver for Greyhound for thirty years and also was a private bus driver. A 1948 Eaton High School graduate, having played on the 1948 State Championship basketball team. He attended the Osteen United Methodist Church, an avid golfer and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Preceded in death by his Sister: Lorna L. Landenberger in 1986; Half Brother: John David Pence in 2008.

Survived by Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Special friend: Barbara Rivenburg, Voorheesville, NY.

Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013in Mound Hill Cemetery (old part) in Eaton with Military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. No public calling.
