William Aaron Wright 62, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at his home in Pueblo, Colorado. Born on Nov. 6, 1947, in Anderson, Ind., he was the son of the late William H. and Carol Joan (Mills) Wright. William served in the U.S. Army, with a tour in Vietnam. He received the medals and decorations of NDSM, ARCOM, VSM, RVNCM w/60 Device, (2) O/S Bars, VN Counteroffensive Phase VII, ARCOM (1st OLC). He attained the rank of captain. William was a retired computer programmer. He enjoyed going out to eat and visiting with friends. Preceeded in death by his brother, Stephen C. Wright; wife, Mary Martinez; and niece, Teresa R. Wright.
Survived by his wife, Lisa (Romero) Wright; Brother: Victor E. Wright of Denver, Colo., Sisters: Helen L. Shafer of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Rayna E. (Bruce L.) Barnes of Eaton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Betty Delores Wright of Thornton, Colo.; Children: William Bradley Wright and Carol Anne Wright; stepchildren: Joseph (Juanita) Francosa, Gheri (Lee) Anaya, Emily (Clyde) Quintana, Lorraine (Tim) Sutton and Larry (Mona) Pacheco; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, Angelus Chapel in Pueblo, Colorado. Graveside service, 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado with full military honors.
