Wesley Edward Phillips, Sr.

WESLEY E. PHILLIPS, SR. age 71 of Scottsdale, AZ and formerly of New Paris, OH, died April 11, 2010 in Scottsdale. He was born on April 12, 1938 in Middletown, OH. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Scottsdale, formerly worked at Alco in Richmond, IN and owner and operator of a Phillips 66 station in Scottsdale. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Masonic Lodge in Scottsdale. Preceded in death by his Father: John Wesley Phillips in 1983, Brother: Emerson D. Phillips in 2006.

Survived by his Wife: Marie R. (Britto) Phillips whom he married on June 30, 1979; Mother: Lillie Lucille (McGlothin) Phillips, New Paris, OH; Daughters: Kathy Wright and Patty Logsdon, Son: Wesley E. Phillips, Jr., all of Harriman, TN; Sister: Nancy A. Phillips, New Paris, OH. 2 Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Service with military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 – 1:30 p.m. in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris with Meryl Ballinger officiating.
