Weltha Zoe Norris

Weltha Zoe Norris, age 88, of Eaton, Ohio, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Born on August 29, 1921 in Lynchburg, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Brown) Fenner. A 1939 graduate of the Lynchburg, Ohio High School, she had worked for General Motors in Dayton, Ohio in her early years, and more recently for the Preble County District Library in Eaton, Ohio. Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton, Ohio, Farmersville, Ohio order of Eastern Star, avid Elephant collector and Ohio State fan, enjoyed traveling with her husband and Civil War reenactment and muzzle loading and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, George Robert "Bobby Joe" Fenner.

Survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert E. Norris; daughters & sons-in-law: Penny & C.O. Ulrich of Eaton, Ohio and Sherry & Jay Meyers of Spokane, Washington. Brother and spouse: Wayne & Wilma Fenner and family of Lynchburg, Ohio. Grandchildren: Kelly McCarty, Tim & Jenny McCarty of Eaton, Ohio, Julie & Brian Lehman of Spokane, Washington and Brian & Amy Meyers of Lacey, Washington. Great grandchildren: Chelsea & Wyatt, Alex & Olivia, Selena & Rebecca, Ashley & Katie.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday July 13, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Interment will be in Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, July 12, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
