Ward E. Brubaker

WARD E. BRUBAKER, age 91, of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at his residence. Born on September 30, 1913 in Eaton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Clarence L. & Maude E. (Eby) Brubaker. He was a farmer and owner/operator of Quality Grain Inc. in Lanier Twp having retired in 1987 after 35 years. He was a 1932 Lanier High School graduate and a member of the Upper Twin German Baptist Brethren Church, West Alexandria, Ohio. Preceded in death by Sister: Ferne V. Eikenberry on June 15, 2004.

Survived by Wife of 68 years: Evalena F. (Filbrun) Brubaker; Son & Daughter-in-law: Reid C. & Elizabeth (Hubbard) Brubaker, Gallipolis, Ohio; Daughter & Son-in-law: Karen F. & Robert L. Crosier, Eaton, Ohio; 5 Grandchildren: Dawn (Delmar Ray) Johnson, Dirk (Denise Schaurer) Crosier, Delk (Shelly Filbrun) Crosier, Ross Brubaker and Sarah Bochard; 8 Great Grandchildren: Jessica Johnson, Denee Rohrer, Darad, Hanna, Denver, Katelyn, Ella & Winston Crosier.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2005 - 10:00 am at the Upper Twin German Baptist Brethren Church - 3614 Halderman Road - West Alexandria, Ohio with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2005 from 6 - 8 pm at the Barnes Funeral Home - 220 East Main Street - Eaton, Ohio.
