Walter W. Bell

WALTER R. "BUD" BELL, age 85, of Eaton, Ohio died February 11, 2010. Born on November 24, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Raymond & Milia (Martin) Bell. Bud graduated in 1942 from Roosevelt High School. Bud proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Bud retired from Dayton Power & Light as a customer representative. Bud served as an Ohio State Trooper for several years. Member of the Bolivar Lodge #82 F & AM of Eaton, Ohio.

Preceded by his son, Gary Bell; step father, Carl Bell.

Survived by his wife of 54 years, Mildred L. (Renner) Bell of Eaton, Ohio; son, Michael Bell of Orem, Utah; sister, Mildred Fisher of Centerville, Ohio; special niece, Judy (Harold) Groves of Eaton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Morse of Eaton, Ohio; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio 45320 with Pastor Roger L. Stine officiating. Interment will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2010 at the funeral home with Masonic Services held at 8:00 p.m.
