Walter S. Boyd

Walter Steven Boyd, 75, of Union, KY and formerly of Preble County, OH, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was an ironworker for Iron Workers Local 44, affiliated with Big Bone Baptist Church and U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Boyd; sister, Barbara Dyer.

Walter is survived by his daughter, Amy (Travis) Nunn; son, Thomas (Karen) Boyd; siblings, Harold Boyd, Evelyn Wooliscroft, Norma Woods, Kenneth Boyd, Estil Boyd, Jr.; grandchildren, Jesse Boyd, Bonita Boyd, Natasha Boyd, Joseph Oldfield, Anthony Oldfield, Julia Nunn, Jenna Nunn; 9 great grandchildren; very dear friend, Judith Clements.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Memorial Baptist Church 1307 E. Main Street Eaton, OH 45320. Interment with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard will be held in Fairview Cemetery near West Alexandria. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
