Walter Franklin Wintrow, Sr

Walter Franklin “Frank” Wintrow, Sr., 66, of New Paris, OH, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his residence. Born on January 13, 1952 in Greenville, OH, he was the son of Walter Miller & Delta Viola (Flatter) Wintrow. He had been a mechanic and welder and was a Vietnam U.S. Navy veteran. Preceded in death by his Wife: Leona (Setser) Wintrow in 2010. 

Survived by Children: Walter F. Wintrow Jr., Bill Wintrow, Tammy (Josh) Clayman and Ashley (Tony) Delaney; Daughter-in-law: Kristi Knapp; Sister: Sharon Thompson; Brothers: Bobby and Tommy Wintrow. 12 Grandchildren: Paige (Austin) Sid, Ashton, Trenton, Alexis, Caleb, Megan, Harley, Savanna and Jody. Great Granddaughter: Avery “Sweet tator”; Several Nieces and Nephews; Step-Children: Travis, Tara and Tashla; 9 Step-Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH with Rev. James C. Sizelove officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Lawn Cemetery in New Paris with military honors by the Preble County Honor Guard.
