Waldo D. Wright

WALDO D. WRIGHT, age 84 of Lewisburg, OH died Friday, January 8, 2010 in Eaton. Born on June 4, 1925 in Brookville, OH, he was the son of the late Leroy James & Margaret Mary (Stump) Wright. He retired after 27 years with NCR in Dayton and had worked for IRC & D Motor Freight in Dayton. He was a Lewisburg High School graduate and had served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. A former Lewisburg school board member during the 1950's and 1960's and had served on the Lewisburg Village Council. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lewisburg.

Preceded in death by his Wife: Veda J. (Bunger) Wright in 2007; Brothers: Robert, Richard and Orlan Wright; Sisters: Margaret Clay, Lucille Cummins Kesler, Ida Warner and Betty Wright.

Survived by Sons & Daughters-in-law: Ron & Sheila Wright, Lewisburg, OH, Mark Wright, Greenville, OH and Todd & Debbie Wright, Vandalia, OH. Brothers: Donald E. Wright, Larry B. Wright, both of Lewisburg, OH, Walter "Fred" Wright, Huber Heights, OH; Sister: Georgianna Harris Hemmelgarn, Lewisburg, OH. Four grandchildren: Craig Wright, Tracy Jackson, Jennifer Wright and Holly Wright; Five great grandchildren: Preston, Sidney and Chloe Jackson and Kasey and Mia Wright. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 511 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends after the memorial service at the church.
