W. Marie Cox

W. MARIE COX, age 98, of Eaton, Ohio, died Sunday November 5, 2006 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on November 3 1908 at Camden, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Charles Otis & Mary E. (Miller) Frame. She graduated from the Carthage, Indiana High School; attended the Richmond Business School; worked at the Starr Piano Company in Richmond, Indiana; cook at Elizabeth Parker’s Restaurant in Richmond, Indiana; she helped set up the cafeteria at National Trail High School in 1969 and served as a cook for several years; Girl Scout leader; 4H leader; Mystery Club member; member of several card clubs in the area; member of the Campbellstown United Church of Christ. Preceded in death by her husband: H. Willard Cox in 2000. Sisters: Katharine L. Wickline in 1972 and Dorothy Wright Shafer in 1960.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph A. & Lois Cox of Cincinnati, Ohio and John W. & Joyce Cox of Caddo, Texas. Sister: Myrtle M. Frame of Anderson, Indiana. Seven grandchildren, Eleven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday November 10, 2006 at the Campbellstown United Church of Christ, 2890 West Florence Campbellstown Road, Eaton, Ohio with Rev. Randall Harvey officiating. Interment will be in Earlham Cemetery at Richmond, Indiana at the convenience of the family on Thursday November 9, 2006.
