Vivian I. Carter

Vivian I. (Haines) Carter, age 94, of Middletown, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center in Middletown, Ohio. Born on August 15, 1913 in Mason, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Leroy & Malinda Ellen (Ruse) Haines.

Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Allie G. Carter in February 24, 1996; sisters, Dorothy Dunwoody in 1987, Lillian L. Haines in August 7, 1996, Ruby Pfeil in 2002; brother-in-laws, John Pfeil in 1972, Clarence Soule in 1983, and Robert Dunwoody in 1993.

Survived by sister, Irma L. Soule of Ormand, Florida; nieces & nephews, Alma D. & Ewing L. Taulbee of Middletown, Ohio, Howard & Lucy M. McNabb of Middletown, Ohio, Ron & Janice Carter of Germantown, Ohio and several other nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Rev. Steven Weatherly officiating. Interment will be held in Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 pm.
