Virginia R. Schwerdfeger

Virginia R. Schwerdfeger 93 of Israel Township, Camden, OH died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at her residence. Virginia was born on August 17, 1927, in El Dorado, Butler County, Kansas, the daughter of the late Vernal A. & Ada S. (Brown) Crawford. She was a 1952 graduate of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and was a secretary for many years at the 10th Avenue United Methodist Church in Hutchinson, KS and a current member of the Eaton Community Church. 

Preceded in death by husband of 14 years: Keith D. Schwerdfeger in 1995; brother: Melvin Crawford and sister: Betty Lois Crawford. 

Survived by daughters & sons-in-law: Karen & Richard Charles of Camden, OH and Nancy & Carter Witt of Eaton, OH. Grandchildren: Manda & Michael Light, Tyler & Barbie Charles, Jesse & Lydia Witt, Hannah & Dalton Caudill, Levi Witt and Grace Witt. Great grandchildren: Jordan Light, Parker Light, Elijah Charles, Eden Charles, Uriah Caudill, Ezekiel Caudill and Shiloh Caudill. 

Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, OH. The funeral service will be 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Dr. Dan Denlinger officiating. Interment will be in Fairhaven Cemetery – Fairhaven, Preble County, Ohio.
