Virginia L. Smith

Virginia L. "Ginger" (Combs) Smith, 66, of Fairfield, Ohio died Friday, January 14, 2011. She was born on September 4, 1944, in Hamilton, Ohio, daughter of the late Thomas A. & Viola "Virgie" (Merrill) Combs. Ginger retired in 2009 after working 25 years for the Butler County Board of MRDD.

Survived by son, Thomas Combs of Hamilton, Ohio; granddaughter, Brandy Combs; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kierson; sister, Arlita Hopkins of Florida; brother, James Combs of Fairfield, Ohio; niece & caregiver, Shawnee Bailey of Fairfield, Ohio; great nieces & nephew, Aleisha, Alexis, and David; best friend & caregiver, Barbara Philpot; several cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Memorial Service will be January 26, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Today Homes Clubhouse, Today Drive, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio.
