Virginia "Jenny" Rumpler

Virginia “Jenny” Rumpler, 72, of Somerville, Ohio, died Saturday, December 3, 2022 at her residence. Born on August 22, 1950 in Perry County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Orlin R. & Madeline (Baker) Strunk, Sr.

Jenny retired from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 2006. Her greatest joy was her family, traveling, “Sister Trips”, reading, and gardening. She had also worked at Classic Hair Design in Oxford, Ohio.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Sister: Karen Skeens in 2001 and her Mother: Edna Mae (Blair) Strunk in 2021.

Survived by her Husband of 54 years: Michael A. Rumpler; Son: Kelly S. Rumpler (Michelle Wells Thomas); Sister: Deloris Henson (Hank Abrams); Brothers: Kenny (Ronda) Strunk

and Orlin (Jill) Strunk, Jr.; Granddaughters: Brooke and Hannah Rumpler. Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, December 8, 2022, at the Somerville Community Church, 207 S. Walnut Street, Somerville, Ohio, with Pastor Mark S. Crary officiating. Interment will be held in Somerville Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Thursday at the church.
