VIRGINIA “GINNY” HICKS, age 79 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at her residence. Born on May 29, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James & Elizabeth Katherine (Ramey) Parker. She was raised in Paris, Kentucky and retired in 1987 from General Motors. Preceded in death by Husband: Thomas Hicks in 1982, Brothers: Bobby & Woody Parker.

Survived by Daughters & Sons-in-law: Kathy & Tom Cribbs, Lewisburg, Ohio, Lisa & David Madison, Celina, Ohio, Kimberly & Brad Bloom, Spencer, Indiana; Son: Jerry Howell; Sister & Brother-in-law: Patricia & Bill Luckenbill, Louisville, Kentucky; Grandchildren & Spouses: Christian & Tracy Jackson, Sarah & Forest Parks, Jonathon Dulebohn, Hannah, Elisabeth and Brent-Thomas Bloom; Great Grandchildren: Preston & Sidney Jackson. Step Grandchildren: Kenny Cribbs, Jennifer Kiser.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2003 - 1:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at the Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Brad Bloom officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2003 from 12:30 P.M. - 1:00 P.M. (Ohio time) at the funeral home.
