Virginia Belle Holland

Virginia Belle Holland, age 89, of New Paris, OH, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017. Born on Sept. 15, 1928 in Greenville, OH, daughter of the late Bert Allan & Susie Etta (Hershey) Brown. She and her husband, Albert V. Holland made their home in the New Paris, OH area. She worked and retired from Hoffco in Richmond, IN. She was a member of the Church of Christ in New Paris, OH. Virginia was a wonderful wife, loving mother and doting grandmother and great-grandmother.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Hobie (Deb) Holland of Fort Wayne, IN and Timothy (Kimberly) Holland of Eaton, OH; grandchildren, Jamie (Dawn) Holland, Marc Holland, Chad (Kristen) Chenowith, Aimee (Derek) Guthrie, Steven Holland, Jordan Struewing, Jerika Struewing and Brianne Struewing; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Rylee, Brandon, Harper, Ethan, Gavyn and Daxton; niece, Sharon Harden.

Preceded in death by her husband: Albert Verlin Holland, Sr.; daughter, Susan M. Chenowith; sisters, Mildred Beatress Brown, Bertie Kathleen Smith and Beulah Giolah Herrman; brothers, Kenneth Everett, Berman Givanna and Abner Jacob Brown.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main St., New Paris, OH with Rev. Stan Van Ausdal officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Thursday prior to the funeral.
