Virgil Hall, age 63, formerly of Camden, Ohio, died Monday, August 21, 2006 at Medical University Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Born on October 19, 1942 in Orkney, KY he was the son of the late Isom & Melda (Gayheart) Hall. He graduated from Pikeville College in Kentucky with a B.A. in Education. Virgil was a teacher for 4 years at West Alexandria Schools and taught at West Elkton Middle School. Virgil then worked for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and was a boiler operator for Mosler Safe Company in Hamilton, Ohio. He attended the Camden United Methodist Church in Camden, Ohio. Preceded by his wife of 27 years: Janet Fay (Robertson) Hall in 1995.
Survived by his son & daughter-in-law: V. Lincoln & Rebecca Hall of Delta, Ohio; sisters & brothers-in-law: Irene Hall of McDowell, Kentucky, Darcus & Sam Pauley of Hunington, West Virginia, Phyllis & Gary Shepard of Columbus, Ohio, Nadine Brock of Columbus, Ohio, and Reba & Dale Kohler of Durham, North Carolina; brother & sister-in-law: Harold & Myrtle Hall of Martin, Kentucky; various nieces, nephews, & cousins.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2006 - 1:00 p.m. at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home - 249 North Main Street - Camden, Ohio with Fred Schmidt officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 24, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Preble County District Library - 450 South Barron Street - Eaton, Ohio 45320.
