Victor F. Geise

Victor F. Geise, 86, of Somerville, Preble County, OH died Friday, April 22, 2011 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH. Born on October 26, 1924 in Anna, Ohio he was the son of the late Anthony & Elizabeth (Siegel) Geise. Victor served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He had worked at the Advance Foundry in Dayton during the 1960's and has been a farmer most of his life. He was a member of the American Legion Post #355 in Fort Loramie, OH and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Camden, OH. Preceded in death by Brothers: Raymond Geise, Edward Geise and Leonard Geise; Sister: Mary Seger.

Survived by his wife of 56 years: Irene Eve (Huzjak) Geise; Son & Daughter-In-Law: Victor E. & Katherine Geise of Somerville, OH and Daughter & Son-In-Law: Linda & Mike Abrams of Hamilton, OH. Brothers: Anthony Geise of Ft. Loramie, OH, Donald Geise and Kenneth Geise both of Sidney, OH and Frederick Geise of Union, OH; 5 grandchildren: Shane (Carolyn) Geise, Julie (Josh) Burgess, Ryan (Jamie) Geise, James (Katelyn) Abrams and Kaitlyn (Matt) Schroeder; 6 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church 7721 North Main Street Camden, OH. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main Street, Camden, Ohio. Interment will be held in Butler County Memorial Park with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
