VERNIECE BOWLING, 85, of Camden, Ohio, died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in Camden. Born on January 26, 1923 in Leslie County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Silas and Flora (Howard) Wilson. She had worked at Sunshine Biscuit in Dayton and was a retired minister at Harvest Ministries in Gratis. Preceded in death by husband: Lee Bowling in 2005, son: Ricky Dean Bowling, brothers: Orville and Howard Wilson, sisters: Dorothy Cook, Ellen Ott and Yolonda Nolan, grandson: Brandon Lee Bowling.
Survived by children: Donna (Kenneth) Pittman, Camden, OH, Rondall (Linda) Bowling, Camden, OH, Robert (Debbie) Bowling, Vandalia, OH, Gemerle (Amy) Bowling, New Albany, OH and Darrell (Janet) Bowling, Trenton, OH. Brother: Ohlen Wilson of KY; sisters: Maxine Wilson and Joanne Rutherford, both of FL. 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 35 N. Liberty St., Camden, Ohio with Rev. Gary Miles & Pastor Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be held in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to service.
