Velma Dixon

VELMA DIXON, 81, of Lewisburg, OH, died Friday, November 06, 2015 at her residence. Born on April 17, 1934 in Morgan County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Joe Lee & Evelyn (Ison) Fyffe.

Preceded in death by her Husband of 59 years: Robert W. Dixon in 2012; Son: Robert Lewis Dixon; Brother: Kenneth Fyffe; Sister: Hazel Keaton.

Survived by her Daughter: Phyllis Waddle, Lewisburg; Son: Harold (Grace) Dixon, Philippines; Grandchildren: Scott Creech and Jessica Creech; Great Grandchildren: Brittanii (Dustin) Music, Ashleigh Swigert Peak, Nicholas and Nathan Harrod, Tayler Creech and Zachary Creech and Great Great Grandchildren: Wilson, Willow and Wesley Music and Gabriel Peak; nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Don Tucker Officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
