Timothy V. Pittman

Timothy V. Pittman age 44, of Modoc, Indiana died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at his residence. Tim was born on December 1, 1971 in Richmond, Indiana. He currently worked at Gro-Tec, Inc. in Modoc and formerly was a police officer at Fountain City, IN Police Dept. from 1998 to 2000 and Hagerstown, IN Police Dept. from 2000 to 2014. Member of the Indiana F.O.P. and Sons of the V.F.W. in Brookville, OH. Preceded in death by his father: Vernon L. Pittman in 2010.

Survived by mother: B. Elaine (Graver) Pittman of New Paris, OH; Daughter: Maggie Pittman and Step-Daughter: Lacy Mangas both of Lakeland, FL; Sister & Brother-In-Law: Cara & Shawn Ditton of Eaton, OH; former wife: Melissa (Freeman) Pittman of Lakeland, FL. Niece & Nephew: Emily Ditton and Jacob Ditton and several aunt, uncles and cousins.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street – New Paris, OH. The funeral service to be held 10:00 AM Friday, November 11, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney Shelley officiating. Interment will be in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH.
