Timothy D. Daugherty

Timothy D. Daugherty, age 66 of Richmond, Indiana died Saturday morning, August 31, 2024, at his residence. Tim was born on February 16, 1958, in Richmond, Indiana the son of the late William T. “Bill” & Betty Lou (Carroll) Daugherty. He was a 1976 National Trail High School graduate and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 2018 from ABF Trucking in Dayton, Ohio and was a member of the Teamsters. He was a human map knowing what direction to go and always making jokes, riding his Harley, fishing, traveling to many areas in the U.S. and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His favorite season was Christmas.

 Preceded in death by his brother: Michael A. Daugherty in 2009: father-in-law: Claude T. Shorter in 2021.

Brandi & Andrew Durham of Richmond, IN; Timmy & Amanda Daugherty of Greenville, OH; Brittany Daugherty & Jeremy Zurwell of Richmond, IN.; Tiffany Daugherty of New Paris, OH; Jeremiah & Alexandria Brady of Richmond, IN; Chelsea & Keith Culley of Skipperville, AL; Sisters: Cynthia A. Daugherty of Eaton, OH and Susan Begley of IL; Brother: Billy T. Daugherty of Eldorado, OH; Sisters & Brothers-In-Law: Leah & Jason Harlow of AL; Claudia & Jason Phillips of AL; 20 Grandchildren: Ellie, Greyson & Liam Suttor, Lillian Ryan, Brianna, Jaxxon, Kaiden Durham; Logan, Alayna, Parker, Cierra Zurwell; Ariana Coggin; Rip & Cora Daugherty; Zaydin Kriston, Taylor & Forest Culley; Octavia & Coraline Brady. 

 The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street – New Paris, OH. The Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Shaeffer officiating.
