Thomas L. Reckers

Thomas L. Reckers, 73, of Richmond, IN died Sunday January 10, 2016 in Muncie, IN. Born on January 16, 1942 in Washington, IN, son of the late John William Milburn & Kathleen Imogene Mattingly Reckers. He had served in the US Army from 1959 thru 1962 and had worked in the IT department at Reid Hospital, Harris Allied and City of Richmond, retiring in 2010. Preceded in death by a sister: Janice K. Harris and brothers: John "Jack" William Reckers and Robert Joseph Reckers.

Survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra A. (Yoder) Reckers. Daughters: Kimberly A. (Will) Drook of Richmond, IN and Amanda K. Reckers of Richmond, VA. Sisters: Judy Ann (George) Smith of Spring Grove, VA, Margaret Sue Reckers of Gratis, OH, Ruth Ann (Bill) McDaniel of Hagerstown, IN, Sue Marie (Bob) Hinshaw of Huber Heights, OH, Carolyn Ann (Dale) Mansfield of New Paris, OH and Marilyn Sue (Ron) Burgoon of Richmond, IN; Sister-in-law, Patty Reckers of Tucson, AZ. Grandsons: Connor & Cooper Drook. Nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday January 14, 2016 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, OH 45347. Family and friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Spring Lawn Cemetery, New Paris, OH.
