Thomas Edmond Grant

Thomas Edmond Grant, age 80 of Eaton, Ohio died on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Greenbrier Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on April 24, 1927 in Greene County, Ohio he was the son of the late Thomas H. & Mildred A. (Somers) Grant. Tom was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran and a 1950 graduate at Northwestern University. He taught school in New Paris, Lewisburg and West Milton, Ohio. In 1991 he retired from United Aircraft Products, a division of Parker Hannifin Corp. as an Engineering Administrator. He lived in Oregon from 1992 to 2006.

Survived by his wife, Lillian (Howard) Grant of Xenia, OH; sons & daughters-in-law: John & Connie Grant of Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Brian & Pamela Grant of Beavercreek, Ohio; first wife and mother of children, Martha Grant of Troy, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Lida Mae & Raymond Potter of Eaton, Ohio; seven grandchildren; several cousins.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m., April 19, 2008 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio with Full Military Honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
