Thelma Jean Brower

Thelma Jean Brower, 84 of Lewisburg, died, Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Eaton. Born on November 18, 1936 in Pyrmont, Montgomery County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Abraham L. & Mary E. (Robert) Shiverdecker. Thelma was a 1954 graduate of Brookville High School and a member of the Lewisburg Historical Society where she had served as treasurer. Preceded in death by her Brothers: Jack W. Shiverdecker, Lewis A. Shiverdecker and Larry D. Shiverdecker; Son-in-law: Mark D. Bertke. 

Survived by her Husband of 64 years: Leslie R. “Les” Brower; Son: Edward L. (Linda) Brower; Daughter: Gina M. Bertke; Sisters: Freda (Detrick) Falldorf and Lorna (Mike) Bowser; 6 Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews. 

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Pastor David O. Justis officiating. Interment will be held in Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.
