Thelma H. Roy

THELMA H. ROY, age 81, of Camden, Ohio, died September 11, 2009 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio. Born on September 23, 1927 in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Virgil & Arlena (Tarter) Patton. Thelma retired from Dayton Flexible Products in Eaton, Ohio after 16 years. She also worked at Preble Shawnee Schools.

Preceded by her husband of 53 years, Charles Allen Roy in 2002; sons, Donald R. Roy in 1980 and Charles M. "Jake" Roy in 2004; brothers, Henry Cleo Patton and Robert Leo Patton; sisters, Mattie Lawhorn and Charlotte Ann Rowan.

Survived by her children & spouses, Charlene Kelley of Camden, Ohio, Beverly Sue & Bruce Burrow of Marengo, Illinois, Joe & Janet Roy of Lewisburg, Ohio and Nancy & Jim Tincher of Camden, Ohio; brother & sister-in-law, Jason & Sharon Patton of Connersville, Indiana; grandchildren & spouses, Jeff & Lettie Brandenburg and James & Brandy Brandenburg of Camden, Ohio, Marcia Elaine Roy of Fountain City, Indiana, Donna & Steve Cox of Richmond, Indiana, Heather Roy and Kevin Roy both of Lewisburg, Ohio, Jenna & Allen Mann of Hamilton, Ohio, Jared Tincher and Justin Tincher both of Camden, Ohio; great grandchildren, Victoria Lowman of Eaton, Ohio, Boone, Nathan, Trevin and Clayton Brandenburg all of Camden, Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at Nein - Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, Ohio. Interment will be held in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2009.
