Teddy L. Myers, Sr.

Teddy L. Myers, Sr., age 84, of Dayton, OH, died Friday, May 1, 2015 in Dayton, OH. Born on December 22, 1930 in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late Glen Allen & Mildred Ellen (Stoner) Myers. Teddy had worked at Valley/TSI Mold in Brookville, OH for 42 years as a Tool & die maker before retiring.

Teddy proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Life Member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America, Island X-7 Dayton, OH #5376.

Preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Donna Jean Myers in 2001; brothers, Glen & Richard Myers; sisters, Evelyn Sensenbaugh, Anna Mae Reiling, Betty Foster, Shirley Wenger and Velma Garbig.

Survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Ted L. & Sheila Myers of New Carlisle, OH; daughter, Bambi L. Myers of Dayton, OH; granddaughter, Tiffany (Bruce) Smith of Fletcher, OH; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Greg Hyre officiating. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, OH with full military honors provided by the Preble County Honor Guard.
