Ted L. Cox

Ted L. Cox, 75, of West Elkton, Ohio, died Friday, September 23, 2016 at his residence. Born on January 29, 1941 in Somerville, Butler County, Ohio he was the son of the late Victor & Vesta (Reynolds) Cox.

Ted was a retired self-employed Commercial Master Painter and licensed Auctioneer in the states of Ohio and Washington. He was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America in his youth, member of the First Baptist Church in Camden and the Masonic Lodge. He was an avid gardener, loved to cook and working on family genealogy. Preceded in death by sisters: Shirley Moore and Linda Bush.

Survived by his wife of 53 years: Alice R. (Pangburn) Cox; children: Tonya Yates and Brad & Ronda Cox both of West Elkton, OH; Melissa Curtis of Eaton, OH and Grant & Jennifer Cox of West Alexandria, OH; brother: Don Cox of Corpus Christi, TX; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday September 28, 2016 at West Elkton United Methodist Church State Route 503 South, West Elkton, OH with the funeral service to be held at 1:00 PM at the church with Rev. Donny Hutcheson officiating. Interment will be in Fairmound Cemetery in West Elkton, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gratis Emergency Squad P.O.
