Sylvia C. Boger

Sylvia C. (Howe) Boger, age 98, of Lewisburg, OH, died, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her residence. Born on July 28, 1919 in Lewisburg, OH, she was the daughter of the late Cebary Grover and Grace Florence (Kunkle) Brown. Sylvia was a 1937 graduate of Lewisburg-Union High School and retired in 1975 from NCR in Dayton where she was a factory worker for many years. Later, she worked for K-Mart in Englewood, OH. She was a member of the UFCW Local 1099 retirees in Troy, OH.    In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded by her husband Ronald E. Boger; daughter, Suzanne Rismiller; daughter-in-law, Mary Howe and brothers, Howard, Spencer, Raymond and Chester Brown.    

She is survived by her daughters, Glenna (David) Bowman and Betty Booso; son, Richard L. Howe; brother, Albert E. Brown; sister, Mildred Jordan; son-in-law: Donald Rismiller; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchldren, nieces and nephews.  

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Pastor Doug Bottles officiating.  Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg. Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
