Steven "Steve" Craig Chesser

Steven "Steve" Craig Chesser, 64, of Lewisburg, OH, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Born on April 22, 1949 in Zanesville, OH to Ernest Chesser and the late Rita Baylor. Steve graduated from Newark High School in 1967. He married Helen (Robbins) Chesser on December, 21, 1991. Steve had worked for the International Labor Union in Construction for 24 years. Member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Lewisburg, Ohio. Preceded in death by his mother, Rita Baylor; sister, Christine Wallace; step son, Rodney Flory.

Survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Helen Chesser and his three children, Steven Craig (Shandra) Chesser, II of Palm Bay, FL, Brandon Todd (Dana) Chesser of Melbourne, FL, Ryan Brady Chesser of Melbourne, FL and Elizabeth Flory, Rodney's widow and step son, Randy (Julie Mazzaro) Flory of Florence, KY; father, Ernest Chesser of Ohio; sister, Pam (Jeff) Anthony of Columbus, OH; brother, Troy Chesser of Zanesville, OH; fourteen grandchildren and numerous other family & friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 18, 2014 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 608 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, OH with Rev. Bill Depoyster officiating. Interment will be held in Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church in Lewisburg. Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
