Stephen S. Wesler

Stephen S. Wesler, age 57, of New Paris, Ohio, died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at his residence. Steve was born on December 13, 1949 in Richmond, Indiana. He was a 1968 Jefferson High School New Paris graduate and had been a Truck Driver for New Paris Oil for 17 years. He had also tilled gardens in the spring for area residents.

He is survived by his Mother: Laura (Scott) Wesler of Richmond, Indiana; father & stepmother: Duane & Edith M. Wesler of New Paris, Ohio; Sons: Scott Andrew Wesler of Liberty, Indiana, Stephen “Nick” Wesler of New Paris, Ohio; daughter: Marissa Victoria Wesler of New Paris, Ohio. Brothers & sisters-in-law: Rev. Mark D. & Brenda Wesler of Westfield, Indiana and Rev. Paul W. & Lisa Wesler of New Paris, Ohio. Sister: Susan E. Wesler of New Paris, Ohio. Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Special Friends: Wayne, Denver, Melissa, Dean and Ron.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 15, 2007 11:00 am at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, Oh with Rev. Paul W. Wesler and Rev Mark D. Wesler officiating. Interment will be in Goshen Cemetery - Richmond, IN. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 14, 2007 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
