Sophia P. Trittschuh

SOPHIA P. (YOUHOUSE) TRITTSCHUH, age 84 of Lewisburg, Ohio died Friday, October 22, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on July 7, 1920 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Michael & Julia (Kosko) Youhouse. She had served with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America in the 1960's. She was co-owner of Trittschuh Snow Shop serving as the Secretary and Treasurer in the day to day operations. She was also co-owner of Trittschuh Farms. Member of the Eastern Star, Delta Theta Tau, Garden Club, Lewisburg Lions Club, Lewisburg Historical Society, and Lewisburg United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her Husband of 44 years: Everett P. Trittschuh, Jr. in 1990; Brothers: Michael Youhouse in 1998 and George “Joe” Youhouse in 2003.

Survived by her Son & Daughter-in-law: Everett P. & Diane L. Trittschuh III of Lewisburg, Ohio; Grandson: Michael M. West of Lewisburg, Ohio; Sisters-in-law: Chitsuko ”Chee” Youhouse of Lewisburg, Ohio, Mary E. Douglas of Centerville, Ohio, and Sylvia Jane Hoff of Lewisburg, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 25, 2004 - 11:00 A.M. (Ohio Time) at Lewisburg United Methodist Church - 200 West Dayton Street - Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. Michael Pratt officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Cemetery - Lewisburg, Ohio on Saturday October 30, 2004 at 10:30 AM. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 24, 2004 - 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Ohio Time) at Barnes Funeral Home - 411 North Commerce Street - Lewisburg, Ohio and one hour prior to the service at the church.
