Shirleyann Jordan

ShirleyAnn Jordan, age 67, of New Paris, Ohio passed away Thursday, August 18, 2005 at Reid Hospital - Richmond, Indiana. Born on August 7, 1938 in Waynesburg, KY. and was a 1956 Boston High School graduate. ShirleyAnn was the Manager at Wayne Employee’s Credit Union from 1972 to 1987 and at Alcoa Credit Union from 1987 to 2002 retiring in 2002. Member of the Central United Methodist Church in Richmond and the Delta Theta Tau Sorority of New Paris. Preceded in death by father: Welby Murphy in 1969; Brother: Junior Murphy in 1968.

She was a loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Survived by her Husband of 43 years: Richard A. “Dick” Jordan; Mother: Blanche Murphy of Richmond, IN. Daughters & sons-in-law: Jill & Brad Eales and Judy & Terry Barnes both of New Paris, OH.; Son: Jay Jordan of New Paris, OH. 3 grandchildren: Courtney Reed, Tyler Jordan and Katelyn Eales.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. (Ohio Time) on Monday, August 22, 2005 at Barnes Funeral Home - 109 West Main Street - New Paris, OH. with Rev. Phil Dorrell and Rev. Eldon Harzman officiating. Interment will be in New Westville Cemetery - Jackson Township - New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Sunday August 21, 2005 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. (Ohio Time) at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Emergency Squad - 135 N.
