Shirley M. Cooper

Shirley M. Cooper age 72 of Richmond, IN, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Born on March 11, 1944 in Bridgeport, IL she was the daughter of the late Mack B. & Ruby M. (Morris) Stokes. Shirley worked at Rogers Jewelers in Richmond and was active with the New Paris Booster's Club. Preceded in death by her son: David W. Cooper in 1984; sister: Evelyn Stoltz in 2010; brothers: Mac Stokes in 2004, Robert Stokes in 1998, Jerry Stokes in 2005 and Ronald Stokes in 1999.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years J. Phil Cooper, daughter: Teresa L. Ullery of New Paris, OH, son: Shaun A. Cooper of Richmond, IN, sisters & brothers-in-law: Lynda & Steve Moore of New Paris, OH and Mary & Jim York of Bakersfield, CA, brother & sister-in-law: Don & Pat Stokes of New Paris, OH, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A special thanks for the special care Shirley received from Dr. S. Vadantim and her nurse navigator Donna Slifer. Also God sent her much comfort from the Asera Care Hospice staff, Nurse Jennifer and a special CNA Terra. What wonderful and caring people. God Bless Them All.
