Shirley L. Hobbs

SHIRLEY L. HOBBS, 76 of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. Born on April 5, 1934 in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late James Howard Guerrant and Grace Marie Waller. She attended the Verona United Methodist Church in Verona, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her Husband: Harry S. Hobbs in 2009; Daughter: Carolyn Hobbs Scott in 1993 and Daughter-in-law, Simone M. Hobbs in 2006; 4 Brothers and 3 Sisters.

Survived by Son: H. Steven Hobbs of Lewisburg; Daughter and Son-in-law: Linda and Jerry Garber of Lewisburg; Sisters: Wilma Howard, Medway, OH and Doris Vukovic, Union, OH; Sister-in-law: Mary Swartzel, Huber Heights, OH. Grandchildren: Chip, Chad and Craig Talley; Steven and Justin Harker and Shelly and Sophie Hobbs; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A family calling will be held at the Barnes Funeral Home, 411 North Commerce Street, Lewisburg, Ohio from 4 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Inurnment will be held in Twin Valley Cemetery in Lanier Township, Preble County, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
