Shirley Imalee Scarberry

Shirley Imalee Scarberry, 87 of New Paris, OH. died Monday, March 21, 2011 at Arbor Trace in Richmond, IN. Shirley was born on February 6, 1924 in Estil, Floyd County, KY, the daughter of the late Arthur & Katherine (Skaggs) Young. She worked at the New Paris Laundromat from 1980 to 1988 and attended the Gospel Baptist Church in New Paris. Preceded in death by her former Husband: Oaklie Scarberry in 2002; Sisters: Violet Conley in 2001 and Nell Seal in 2005; Brothers: Denial "Danny" Young in 1995 and Truman J. Young in 1997.

Survived by her Daughter: Sandra L. Scarberry of Indianapolis, IN.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio with Rev. Gilmer Smith officiating. Interment will be held in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris, OH. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
