Shirley E. Snyder-Knox

SHIRLEY E. SNYDER-KNOX, 77, of Richmond, IN, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Reid Hospital and Healthcare Services in Richmond. Born on December 21, 1934 in New Paris, OH, daughter of the late Charles & Bernice (Loper) Snyder. She was a 1952 graduate of Jefferson Township High School in New Paris and was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Payson, AZ. Shirley was a retired bookkeeper from Chemical Waste Management and had also worked for Davenport Enterprises both in Phoenix, AZ.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Herschel and Tom Snyder.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Teresa & Marty Coyle and Janet Johnson and her son, Michael Phenis all of Richmond; sister, Jane Hall of La Follette, TN; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 pm, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 W. Main St., New Paris, OH with Pastor David Eales officiating. Family will receive friends on 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the funeral home.
