Sarah E. Crone

Sarah Elizabeth Crone, age 92, of Eaton and formerly of Lewisburg, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton, Ohio. Sarah was born on February 3, 1921 in Shandon, Ohio, daughter of the late George I. & Mattie K. (Smith) Crone. She had lived in Lewisburg for 36 years and lived in Preble County since 1941. Sarah helped out on the farm in New Paris for 28 years that was owned & operated by her husband, Darrell J. Crone. Member of the First United Church of Christ in Lewisburg, Ohio.

Preceded in death by her husband, Darrell J. Crone in 2008; brother, Orville Crone; sister, Marie Moses.

Survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Janice E. & Joe T. Hall of Eaton, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Barbara & Robert Heaton of Dayton, Ohio.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2013 at First United Church of Christ, 400 North Main Street, Lewisburg, Ohio with Rev. David O. Justis officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the church. Interment will be held in Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
