Samantha S. Smith

Samantha Smith, 42, of Somerville, OH passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. She was born on September 12, 1974 in Oxford, Ohio. Sami worked for Gardens Alive in Lewisburg an was noticed by many people because of her distinctive mothering skills. Her hobbies included getting as many family members as possible together for cookouts and holidays to doing things like slip'n'slides on the Somerville school hill. Sami was very unpredictable and was always spontaneous.

Preceded in death by her father Don Isaacs in 2004; step-father: John Messer in 2011; grandparents: Cleova & Lucas Isaacs and grandfather: Bob Burdge.

Survived by spouse: Adam Clay Back; her two enjoyable sons: Dylan and Colton Back; daughter: Tamara & Tony Carr; mother: Brenda Messer of Somerville, OH; grandmother Mary Rich of Somerville, OH; mother-in-law: Lillian Back; siblings: Johnna Messer & Jody Diefenbacher; Nathan Isaacs; Bobbie & Mike Myers and Lori & Ron; 5 grandchildren; two nieces Nyah and Mykal Diefenbacher; Aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers & sisters-in-law, distant family members and Friends.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Somerville Community Church 207 Walnut Street Somerville, Ohio and the funeral service 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 23, 2017 with Steve Wright officiating at the church. Interment will be in Somerville Cemetery.
